Seldom has any film`s runtime been extended just a couple of days before its theatrical release. Tiger 3 is an exception. As the countdown for Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi`s spy thriller has begun, the makers reportedly added 2.22 minutes to the overall runtime. According to renowned trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Maneesh Sharma directorial`s revised runtime is 2 hours, 36 minutes.
Sharing the development on X, Taran tweeted, “#Xclusiv… ‘TIGER 3’ RUN TIME INCREASED – ADDITIONAL FOOTAGE ADDED… #YRF has added extra footage [2.22 minutes] to #Tiger3… The original run time [certified ‘UA’ by #CBFC on 27 Oct 2023] was 2 hours, 33 min, 38 sec… The revised run time [certified 6 Nov 2023], after additional footage, is 2 hours, 36 minutes, 00 seconds. First half: 1 hour, 10 minutes, 33 seconds Second half: 1 hour, 25 minutes, 27 seconds.”

In a statement, Maneesh revealed Salman`s entry scene will be an iconic one and the duration of the same will be 10 minutes. He said, “Salman Khan has given us countless memorable intro sequences, It`s one of those iconic moments that Salman fans and Hindi film lovers wait for. And his entry as Tiger in the previous instalments has been mind-blowing! So, it was imperative that we devised something unique, true to Salman Khan`s style and yet make it out of this world as an action spectacle for his entry in Tiger 3.”
He added, “Bunch of talented and enthusiastic minds – Some of our best action, stunts, grips and effects people came together to craft a 10-minute block that does justice to Tiger`s entry. An entry that does Tiger justice. This intro sequence is a highlight of the film and includes an exciting action sequence that reminds Bhai`s fans exactly how cool Tiger is.”
Owing to the massive demand for Tiger 3, several theatres will be running 24×7. New Delhi and the Middle East will be the first ones to play the movie round the clock.

Tiger 3 will release in theatres on Diwali 2023, that is, November 12.
