Amitabh Bachchan leaves no stone unturned in making Kaun Banega Crorepati an interesting show. He often shares fun anecdotes related to his films and family. In the latest episode, the veteran actor made a revelation. Contrary to the notion that he never did house chores due to his star status, Mr Bachchan shared that he has washed utensils and even cleaned the bathroom sink.
When a contestant named Harsh asked, “I handle my father`s business. We have a manufacturing unit of plastic monofilament yarns. These threads are used in making the cleaning scrubs. Sir, have you ever cleaned utensils?” the veteran star replied, “Haan sir, kayi baar bartan saaf kiya hai, kitchen ka chilamchii saaf kiya hai, bathroom me jo basin hota hai, use saaf kiya. Aisa kyu lagta hai ki humne na kiya hoga (Yes, sir. I have cleaned utensils several times, even the bathroom sink. Why do you think I have never done these things)?”
In one of the previous episodes, Mr Bachchan recalled his wedding with Jaya Bachchan and revealed he refused to wear the traditional Bengali topor for the ceremony. He said, “This conical cap is worn during a wedding in Bengal. You all know that I have a connection with Bengal. I don’t know why they made this and made people wear it. I didn’t like it so I asked Jaya’s family members and said ‘I apologise, I will marry your daughter, Jaya, but please don’t make me wear this topi’
Workwise, Amitabh Bachchan was seen in Ganapath Part 1 which also starred Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. He has Nag Ashwin`s Kalki 2898 AD co-starring Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. It is scheduled to release on January 12, 2024.
Mr Bachchan reunited with Rajinikanth for TJ Gnanavel`s next directorial. Announcing their collaboration after 33 years, Thalaiva wrote on X, “After 33 years, I am working again with my mentor, the phenomenon, Shri Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming Lyca’s “Thalaivar 170″ directed by T.J Gnanavel. My heart is thumping with joy!” Bollywood`s Shahenshaah shared the same picture and wrote, “THE THALAIVAR .. !! What an honour”
